 We’re looking for a motivated, experienced and passionate data scientist to join our newly established Innovation Lab. Working closely with a cast of other team members, you’ll be able to make a significant contribution to the development of several new products. Your primary focus will be around generating (database curation), modelling and outputting (via APIs) a variety of heterogeneous data that forms the fuel of new products. These products aim to support the organisation’s core goals.The department is in an early stage where we’re still forming the exact languages, technologies and tools, so it’s a fantastic time to join us and help to influence those decisions.


To be successful in this role, we will need you to be able to demonstrate that you:

 Are an expert in coding (Python, R, Knime (or similar)), databases (SQL/NoSQL).

Have specific experience in Keras, tensorflow and/or pytorch.

Are experienced in natural language processing (NLP), ideally with respect to transfer learning.

Can create clear visualisations in relevant packages/software (e.g. ggplot, tableau, Microsoft BI, seaborn).

Have experience in the development of APIs in microservices for a variety of platform requirements.

Have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop effective relationships with peers and leaders.
