CPMS is a leading provider of project management services to the Rail industry. Over the last 7 years we've had very rapid growth and we have an ongoing need for Scheme Project Managers to help this growth continue. You could be part of our success story.

As a Scheme Project Manager (SPM) you'll be leading on small projects or specific sections of larger ones across a range of rail and civil engineering projects so you'll have real responsibility from day one. This is an ideal role if you are currently working as a project management assistant/junior project manager looking for your next step in your career.

You'll have had previous experience of successful project management, supporting development of baselines, providing measurement and control. You'll understand how to take your projects through the full project life cycle, managing risks and contingencies, liaising with clients and other contractors and building safety into everything you plan and do.

Because many of our projects are based with Network Rail, we do require you to have direct experience of working with them. You'll also need the right to work in the UK.

You'll need to have a commercial mindset, be open to opportunities to identify efficiencies for the client and have a real focus on delivery of outputs. Ideally you'll have started your APM qualifications (or equivalent) but as a corporate member of APM we are committed to supporting you in acheiving qualified status.
